AdminKit vs Tabler

When to pick which

Pick AdminKit when

  • You want Bootstrap as Bootstrap documents it, with no component library of its own to learn.
  • You want HTML, React or Next.js, or a mix, from one product.
  • You want an accessibility target that is stated and checked on every page.
  • You want a paid edition that adds pages, dashboards and plugins, paid once, with lifetime updates.

Pick Tabler when

  • You want Tabler’s own component library and the larger free page set that comes with it.
  • You need right-to-left layouts.

Either way

Both run on Bootstrap 5.3 without jQuery, have light and dark mode, an MIT-licensed free edition and public documentation. Neither includes a back end.

Frequently asked questions

Answers to common questions about AdminKit.

?

Can I move a project from Tabler to AdminKit?

The Bootstrap parts carry over as they are: grid, buttons, forms, cards and utilities use the same classes in both. Tabler's own components and class names have no counterpart, so those pages move to AdminKit's layout. The framework guides show the setup.

?

Does AdminKit stay closer to Bootstrap than Tabler?

Yes. AdminKit depends on Bootstrap itself and uses its components, classes, Sass variables and data-bs-theme color modes, so Bootstrap's documentation and updates apply as they are. Tabler bundles Bootstrap and adds a component library and class names of its own.

?

What does AdminKit PRO add that Tabler's paid package does not?

Pages. AdminKit PRO has 53 pages with 5 dashboards, 11 wired-up plugins, AI pages and a settings panel, in HTML, React and Next.js, with email support and lifetime updates. Tabler's paid package is the compiled files of the free template plus email support.

?

Does AdminKit come in React or Next.js?

Yes. AdminKit comes as HTML, React and Next.js, the same pages and design in each, built and released together, and one bundle license covers all three. Tabler is HTML only.
