Is Chart.js open source?
Yes. Chart.js is open source under the MIT license, and both AdminKit editions ship it configured and themed.
Should I pick Chart.js or ApexCharts?
Both are included in AdminKit PRO. Chart.js is small and covers the common chart types; ApexCharts adds more chart types and richer interactions like zooming and panning.
Do the charts work in dark mode?
Yes. Charts created with adminkit.chartjs(element, theme => config) are redrawn with the new colors when the color mode changes, in the free version and in PRO.
