Does AdminKit include an AI back end or model API?
No. AdminKit supplies the HTML, CSS and JavaScript for the interface. Your back end calls the model provider, keeps the API key on the server and returns the replies and usage data the pages display.
Which AI models does the AI chat work with?
Any model you can call from your back end, such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Google or a self-hosted model. The model picker in the demo is markup with sample names, so you list the models your application offers.
Can the AI chat stream replies?
Yes. Stream the reply from your back end and append each chunk to the assistant message as it arrives. The demo shows the states you need: the typing cursor, the Stop button, reasoning steps, tool calls and cited sources.
Are the AI pages in the free version?
No. The AI analytics dashboard, AI chat and prompt library are AdminKit PRO pages. AdminKit PRO has 53 pages in total, with 5 dashboards.
Do the AI pages support dark mode?
Yes. Like every AdminKit page they work in light, dark and auto color mode, and the AI analytics charts redraw in the new colors when the mode changes.
Which license do I need for a paid AI product?
The Company and Enterprise licenses cover products with paying users, such as an AI SaaS application. The Hobby license is for products without paying users. All licenses are one-time payments.
